It was a long weekend but I enjoyed every bit of it. Saturday I was at the Volcom Skate Demo and Autograph Signing held at Sun Diego inside Plaza Bonita Mall. This was the last stop for Volcom as it would complete their demo tour. The demo was open all day for skaters of all ages to show off their tricks and have fun. Afterward the Volcom Skate Team came and put on quite a show for viewers executing, with ease, some of the more difficult tricks know in the skate world. I really enjoyed shooting event even though it felt like 110 degrees outside. The demo also included free energy drinks from companies, tickets to a huge skate tour coming to town, and a free skateboard giveaway. We finished the evening off inside the grand opening of Sun Diego where the sponsored skaters signed autographs, took pictures with fans, and gave away skate gear like glasses, socks, stickers, and more. It was nice to see kids with big smiles beacuse they got to see their favorite pro skater. It kind of made me miss being a kid again…
