I said to myself I’d never shoot another concert inside the 4th & B because of their failure to conduct events and concerts properly. On 2 of 4 occasions I have been turned away due to poor communication on the part of security, promoters, and or club owners. Creditials are irrelevant with this venue as I have learned so I was very skeptical when i was asked to cover The Game Concert.

However, everything went just fine. Hosted by renowned comedian “BO-BO LAMB” the event featured standup and impromptus from the comedian himself and lots of opening acts, mostly local artist. They put on pretty good entertainment. I noticed the crowd getting restless after 4 hours and then the crowd erupted into roars and shouts.

The Game jolted onto the stage and performed “Dreams” then spoke to the crowd thanking San Diego for welcoming him with open arms. Then it was on to more performances. With every song that spewed out the rappers mouth the more amazed the crowd became on how long he could go on as jaws dropped and hands went up. I think people tend to underestimate artist and entertainers nowadays. Then Game put on a little show of his own drinking, in one shot, an entire bottle and Grey Goose Vodka and then paying homage to veteran rappers, 2pac, The Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg, and Ice Cube. Afterwards he jumped off the stage and went into the crowd to embrace fans while performing. It was a memorable show for any fan of the rapper.

Overall the show was a success. I ask myself still, “would I shoot 4th & B again”? I dont know I guess ill take it one event at a time.
